I’m always amazed at how data visualizations of social media can tell us so many unexpected things! In this case, Twitter Feeds tell us that there are 66 languages in London, and where they are.
By analysing tweets published in London between March and August this year and plotting them on a map the researchers were able to show the capital’s language clusters based on Twitter use. The research shows a total of 66 different languages used in the capital.
